4th of July Weekend

What a busy weekend! Vaughn had Friday and Monday off so we've been having tons of fun!

Friday morning, we got up real early and took the boys up to hike to Timpanogos cave. We debated whether or not we should take Jenna and we are SO happy didn't...you'll see why in pictures that follow! The boys were quite the troopers. It was a steep 1.5 mile climb, plus 1 hour tour through the caves and then 1.5 miles back down. They just loved it, Vaughn did too - it was his first time there!

Cute brothers...most of the time :)
Looking down into the valley - our house is probably in that picture!
THIS is why I am glad we didn't take Jenna! That's my foot in the picture.
Entering the cave
It was so awesome inside...and COLD!

I saw Eclipse for the 2nd time :)

We had breakfast at my mom's on Saturday morning

We went to the Lehi pool with all of the Holbrook's
It was nice to have the pool all to ourselves :)
We went up to the cabin for lunch - we just love it there.

Getting ready for our party - making homemade rootbeer is a highlight for the kids every year!

The kids dressed up all patriotic to go to church on the 4th
The kids went to bed last night at 7:15 and slept until 7:00 this morning!!! That tells you just how much fun we've been having! :)

Lehi Round-up Days!

My favorite time of the year :) We spent a fun week at the rodeo, 3 parades, dinner at the park, family BBQ, breakfast at the park and shopping - SO MUCH FUN! I look forward to the Lehi Round-up all year...so glad my kids love it too!!

At the Rodeo
Jenna's 1st rodeo! The rodeo starts at 8pm, Jenna's bedtime is 8pm. She does not nap unless we're in the car so I drove around Lehi for 1 hour and 15 minutes that afternoon while she slept to make our rodeo experience better! It worked and she was happy (most of the time!) Nothing better than a rodeo hamburger!
Parade!

Jenna knew just how to work it when candy was being thrown!
It felt like it was 100 degrees but we still sat and watched 1-1/2 hours of parade!!!
Pony rides at the park

Until next year...
